Overview

As a Survey Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll assist a Licensed Surveyor with a variety of projects including crew scheduling and daily assignments, developing deed work maps, developing base maps, and coordinating research to collect Right-of-Way and property information. Responsibilities will include ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Research, Boundary Surveys, construction layout, and GPS. Work mainly in the office, but occasional fieldwork may be necessary.

Qualifications
    Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Survey Program or a Graduate with a 2- or 4-year Degree of Applied Science;
  • 4 years minimum experience as a Crew Chief;
  • Proficient with field data collection and transfer;
  • Proficient with 2021 or later Civil 3D AutoCAD;
  • Proficient with layer management, xrefs, raster images, viewports, scaling and plotting;
  • Proficient with point import, description key sets, point groups and automated line work;
  • Understanding of coordinate translation, rotation, and datum adjustment;
  • Experience with State Plane coordinate system;
  • Experience with ALTA surveys, Records of Surveys, Plats and legal descriptions;
  • Punctual and reliable;
  • Proficient in records research and legal description reconstruction;
  • Thorough understands the principles and mathematics of surveying;
  • Thorough understands geodesy and global positioning;
  • Proficient note checking, proofing and checking legal descriptions and quality control;
  • Experience producing cut sheets and staking sheets from construction plans;
  • Experience producing bid quantities from construction plans;
  • Survey Licensing in the State of Arizona is not mandatory;
  • Licensing and professional affiliations are encouraged;
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory;
  • CEC is a drug free workplace and therefore passing a drug test prior to hire is mandatory.
