Position Highlights The successful candidate will join the research team of Dr. Lee Ryan to work on a large-scale study (The Precision Aging Network: Healthy Minds for Life, www.precisionagingnetwork.org) as well as other projects investigating aging and cognition. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the collection of neuropsychological, biometric, and neuroimaging data; collection and processing of blood samples; collection of carotid ultrasound images; oversight of standard operating procedures; scheduling and screening research participants; and data scoring, entry and management. Phlebotomy training and/or certification is highly preferred but can be obtained after being hired.

Duties & Responsibilities

Administer neuropsychological testing, assist with MRI scanning, perform carotid ultrasound sonography.

Biospecimen/biometrics collection and processing.

Maintain detailed records of studies conducted, score, process, and organize data, and enter data into database.

Attend recruiting events, screen and schedule participants.

Assist with various other duties.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in research involving human participants, neuropsychological testing, Sonography/carotid ultrasound, phlebotomy, and neuroimaging preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Phlebotomy training and/or certification is highly preferred but can be obtained after being hired.
