About this role

As our Behavior Technician, you will carry an assigned caseload of 25-32 clients ages 4 through adolescence, working independently or as part of a team. You will meet with clients and their families in the community, school, or in the client home, approximately 1-4 times a month. This work focuses on recognizing the client behavior triggers, helping them to learn effective coping skills, and working with the families/caregivers/professionals (teachers) to educate them on behavior modification techniques, to decrease negative behaviors.

What were looking for:

One (1) of the following:

  • High School diploma and 1 year or more of experience with children providing direct behavioral work, or parenting services.
  • Associates Degree in any field and at least 6 months experience with children providing direct behavioral work, or parenting services.
  • Bachelors degree in a Human Service-related field (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, etc)
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Must be eligible for fingerprint clearance approval without restrictions (and maintain during employment)
  • Valid Arizona drivers license (without restrictions), current auto insurance, and current CPR/First Aid (or able to obtain)
