Job Summary:
As the Richmond facility's Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leadership and management of the internal-quality and customer-quality functions. This will specifically include leading and managing actions to monitor, evaluate and improve internal production processes, sustaining the quality philosophy and lead culture at a plant level, establishing, maintaining and optimizing the plant quality management system, continuously improving the plant quality plan to achieve the overall quality objectives. The ultimate goal of each of these responsibilities is to continuously drive the plant culture and performance to Zero Defects through the implementation of ISO9001, and through use of problem-solving tools, prevention methods, kaizen, and other continual improvement techniques.
Supervision and Interaction:
In this role, you will report directly to the Division Quality Manager, and will act as management's representative for internal and customer quality within the Richmond, California facility. This responsibility will include direct supervision of a Senior Quality Engineer, as well as coordination of resources within Quality and other departments to maintain effective implementation of the quality management system, rapidly problem solve and address quality concerns, and cost-effectively facilitate manufacturing process that produce high-quality products. You will also interact routinely with all functional areas, as well as with customers, field sales, regulatory agencies, and division management.
