Position Highlights

This position, funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, is focusing on developing and utilizing the attosecond electron imaging facility for imaging the electron motion in the real time.

The Postdoc Research Scholar position requires a highly motivated and dynamic scientist with a doctoral degree in Physics or Chemistry, preferably with a strong publication record.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Focus on developing and utilizing the attosecond electron imaging facility for imaging the electron motion in the real time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph. D. in Physics or Chemistry by time of hire.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in ultrafast laser systems, Transmission/Ultrafast Electron Microscope, Electron diffraction, X-ray diffraction and/or materials science.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong publication record.
