This position will be located in Arizona. Enterprise Coder Lead Overview: Is the subject matter expert for the surgical coding staff and leadership. Assists with training and education. Maintains expert knowledge of surgical coding work flow and optimizes use of available technology. Effectively communicates information to staff and coding leadership. Provides ongoing feedback to staff. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when resolving conflicts with staff and customers.


Department: PFS Coding Operations


Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Associate's Degree in a healthcare related program with RHIT or CCS or CPC certification, OR Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related program and RHIA certification. Requires a minimum of 3 years coding experience with Surgical CPT. Someone to supervise the surgical coding team to ensure daily processes are efficient. Assist in developing your team by ensuring they receive the proper education and training, work with clinical practice to nurture and develop relationships. Work virtually with the other surgical leads to standardize processes. Experience coding procedures performed in a hospital operating room preferred. Leadership experience is a plus. Salary: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $21.49 per hour.
